Anthony Mencio aka Mence is a American (finally) house producer hailing from sunny Florida. He’s only been producing for a few months now but has managed to put out some solid mixes in that time. His Soundcloud features six tracks, that can all fit into the Progressive-styled house genre. There are certainly some overlapping sounds between the songs but the progression as artist is noticeable. “Elevation” and “Eleoquence” both have great lead synths but lack true complexity/depth that elevate a song from being good to great. His newest track, “Qromatic” is certainly a step in the right direction, featuring a much richer and crisper sound than some of his previous productions. The last track I want to feature is “Krave,” which features a different sound than the rest of the bunch, with an almost frenetic synth that immediately caught my ear. Mence utilizes some great Progressive melodies and once he fills out his sound, his tracks will be something to reckon with.
