I should’ve known the Danish were going to overtake the Dutch when I heard this track three weeks ago. While Euro 2012 has been entertaining so far, none of the games have excited me as much as this absolute treat by Copenhagen DJ/producer Chameo. This track slowly builds up to something awesome and the six minutes end up flying by in a blur. From what I could find, this is Chameo’s first original mix, and the guy is clearly doing it well. Grab the track, sprinkle some love on his facebook, and keep those fists pumping. On a side note, my favorite part of the track is the subtle but fantastic use of the girl moaning. It reminds me of all those awesome classic rock songs. I mean, it’s no GnR “Rocket Queen” sex-under-a-microphone kind of thing, but it’s awesome. (If you don’t understand that reference, click here and skip to 2:30. The story behind that is the band wanted a girl moaning in the back during the breakdown and Axl Rose was dating some stripper at the time, so they just left the microphones on in the studio and let the couple have at it. Now that’s music history.)
