Happy Birthday To Us!

Well, here we are. Two years ago, I don’t think those three Jersey boys knew what they were getting themselves into. What started out as a small mashup site making playlists for Lacrosse Playground has turned into a global movement, from Gothenburg to Gold Coast. DML is now doing events nationwide and with a staff of over 20, we can only go up from here. We’ve all come so far in two years, however we’re far from done. The only thing we can do now is thank you for your support the last two years, and let’s keep the momentum going! Shoutout to all the DMLers with us from the beginning: from the long ass WordPress URL, to the Soundcloud Shakedown, to all my idiotic viral videos. We have turned into a blog behemoth and it wouldn’t be at all possible without your constant support and feedback. We’re always trying to improve DML and make it the site we know it can be. So whether it be new segments, more interviews or events, or less Carly Rae never feel afraid to let us know. Also, none of this would be possible either such talented artists to promote, big and small. We all have the privilege of giving you music, one of life’s greatest joys, on a daily basis and we sincerely thank those who create it for the opportunity. From rappers trying to catch a break to unknown Swedish prodigies, we share their passions with you due to their great talents and generosities. Through the good and the bad we’ve faced the past two years, we’re thankful for it all and ask that you trust us to take DML to the next level in the next two years. Though I didn’t start it, I’ve been here for over 15 months and I’m sure as hell going to finish it. So happy birthday to us, thank you to Ryan, Conor, and Mike, thank you to the 12,000 and counting, thank you to the amazing artists and promoters we work with on a daily basis, and thank you Based God.
