Saturday Night Fever 7/14

Been a crazy busy weekend, sorry for the wait. We’ve got a massive segment this week so put on those dancing shoes and get funky. We’ll start things off with the newest remix from Moon Boots as he takes on Little Boots in a nice freebie remix. We follow that up with a great new Steve Aoki remix from the homies of Bastille. This one’s a little more electro than the others, but Bastille is still a disco legend in the making. Duck Sauce just got the remix of a lifetime recently, and fortunately for us it’s a freebie. DJ Dan & J Paul Getto take on the funky duo’s track “Anyway” and it’s quite the edit. Next, Zimmer makes his DML debut with a fantastic remix of Montevideo’s “Horses”, which has been remixed time after time yet still remains fresh. If you remember the classic “Don’t You Want Me” by The Human League, then you certainly remember how great that instrumental was. Aeroplane deconstructs it and turns it into a funk machine. We’ll wash that down with the newest from Stereocool, who collabs with Fossil Figo this week to bring us a remix of “Play Pool” by The Gordon Setter. And to end the week off right, I’ve included the latest and greatest from Midnight Magic, who ambitiously takes on Sydney’s Panama and their track “Magic”.
