Our boys at Upper West just sent over this track to celebrate breaking 10k on their Facebook page. The thank-you song called “Common Ground”is an awesome glitchy track and is the first new sounds we’ve heard from the duo since they released their debut EP West Side Stories (download the EP here) which quickly became a DML favorite. As always, the production–though no the typical “hip hop” sounding track–is fantastic with some awesome piano keys thrown in for good measure. The lyrics reflect on relationship struggles and reflect the increasing lyrical complexity that has been accompanying Upper West as they’ve improved their style and brand.
