I haven’t heard anyone touch St. Lucia‘s fantastically melodic “We Got It Wrong” jam until now. Xaphoon Jones brings us a unbelievable mash of the former track mixed with Madeon’s house-tearing remix of Yelle’s “Que Veux Tu” (available on beatport). This track has BLOWN up in the past week, which makes me hate myself because I’ve been sitting on it for a minute now, depriving y’all of dank tunage. Anyway, here’s the track and it’s absolutely awesome.
Time for two tangents: The album artwork up there isn’t for the song; it’s just Xaphoon’s default on Facebook right now. Props to the first comment “a pineapple, damn that’s some deep shit.” Internet trolls rejoice; you are everywhere. Second, I’ve got 10 or 12 more songs I want to unload between today and tomorrow, but up next we’re gong to take a turn for the indie/chill. Then, when the sun goes down, I’ll start tearing out the party tracks. I’m excited for you guys because I’ve got some serious aces up my sleeves. Stay tuned.
